Hi there!
We went on our second outing this term at Jericho Beach Park yesterday.
The morning started out with a light drizzle but this soon turned into a downpour. Despite the cold and wet weather, we had some excellent finds including a pair of Western Meadowlarks, a Savannah Sparrow, Sharp-shinned/Cooper’s Hawk, the Grebe trio (Western, Horned, and Pied-billed!), and more. We observed around 30 species– check out the full list on eBird here!

Please excuse the low quality digi-scoped photos this time (heavy rain and expensive camera equipment don’t go well together…)

Hope to see you all next time!
